Dreaming of one day being able to produce Barolo, the Faccenda family purchased this winery in 2003. The vineyards lie just outside of Monforte, the vines are 30/40 years old, the soil of limestone composition.
Farming Practices: Organic
Harvesting Method: Hand Harvested
Soils: Clay and sand soil.
Fermentation: 5 days maceration and fermentation in stainless steel
Maturation: wine then stays in oak, where themalolactic processing develops for 12-15 months and then again in stainless steel casks. It is bottled in August, two years after the harvesting and in October it enters on the market.
