A more complex and almost nutty Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine in France’s Loire Valley, we appreciate the depth this wine shows. Rich citrus, apple and crisp pear fill out the palate, with a finish that has a distinct washing minerality. Oysters come to mind, but so does sipping sans food.
Alexis Hudon hails from Québec, where he worked as a sommelier for a decade before moving to Paris in 2013. He began dabbling in grape harvests and winemaking before establishing his own cellar in 2019. Though he does not own his own vineyards, he buys organic grapes from growers in the Touraine region.
