We’d call this “textbook Sancerre” — meaning it brims with delightful citrus and herbal notes that are to be expected from a Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Soft touches of fresh-cut apple, flint minerals, and honey make this a ready pairing for lighter foods like sautéed shrimp or guac-and-chips. If you’re looking for the Sancerre, this is it.

Edouard Langlois and Jeanne Chateau founded this wine estate in 1885 and became leading producers in the Loire Valley. In 1973, the Bollinger family invested in Langlois, both revitalizing vineyards and modernizing the cellar. Today the estate owns and manages 175 acres of top vineyard land in the AOC with a sustainable approach to farming and production. Langlois is known for terroir-focused wines that are both complex and refined, serving as a leader in the production of Sancerre, Saumur, and crémant wines.

Soil Type: Chalk The grapes are from a selection of the best vineyard plots. They undergo a gentle pressing to extract the purest juice and are handled exclusively in stainless steel. They are pressed pneumatically and fermented in small temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness.
