This beautifully pink Champagne rosé is both delicate and punch-packing all at once. Jasmine, apricot and red berries on the nose lead up to a complex palate that nudges with cherry, pomegranate and anise. Generous bubbles are in no short supply — pair with salads and appetizers across cuisines or brunchy bites like salad with grilled salmon or chicken-and-waffles.
La Caravelle is a project led by owners Rita and André Jammet with the goal of reflecting classic roots and contemporary sensibility. It is also an homage to Rita and André’s legendary French restaurant of the same name which existed from 1960 to 2004. Once they closed the iconic restaurant, their endeavor in Champagne production came to life and today La Caravelle wines are produced with an eye toward the future and an honor for the past.
